WELCOME TO LYRIC OF LIFE

Prior to April 24, 2003, I would have never imagined a nonprofit organization called LYRIC OF LIFE (LOL). The pain of tragically and suddenly losing my daughter, Lyric Marie Benson, was beyond belief.  That pain is permanent.

Lyric’s death resulted in five lives being saved through her organ donation.  Besides her life-sustaining gift of lungs, kidneys, liver, and heart, Lyric's tissue was made available to enhance lives.  Her pancreas was donated for islet cell research.

LOL was created to remember Lyric’s precious past and how she now helps others’ precious futures.  Lyric was a giver of inspiration during her 22 years.....and now beyond.  In the wake of this indescribable loss, new awareness will grow, people will be helped, and lives will continue to be touched.  Because things must exist as they do now, I can’t imagine NOT having an organization called LYRIC OF LIFE.
